The NEWMAC announced its 2008 Baseball Post-season awards on Tuesday. Scott McNee of WPI was named Player of the Year, while Adam Gingras of Wheaton was named Pitcher of the Year.

Wheaton Senior Scott Guillerault Named NEWMAC Baseball Player of the Week
Guillerault swung a hot bat in leading Wheaton to a 4-0 week and its fourth consecutive NEWMAC Tournament championship. Reaching base at an astounding .737 clip, Guillerault batted .583 and slugged .750, going 7-for-12 with five runs, four RBI, two doubles and five walks.
