Six NEWMAC Student-Athletes Earn NEIBA All-Region Accolades Six NEWMAC student-athletes have been named to the NEIBA 2009 All-New England Division III team as announced last week. Wheaton led the way with three Second Team selections while Babson, MIT and WPI each had one player honored. ![]()

NEWMAC Announces 2009 Baseball Post-Season Award Winners The NEWMAC announced its 2009 baseball award winners on Tuesday. Wheaton College led the way with five All-Conference selections, as well as the Rookie of the Year, Dan Haugh. MIT and WPI each had four players named to the First or Second Teams. ![]()

Babson Junior Peter O'Toole Named NEWMAC Baseball Player of the Week O'Toole helped lead the Beavers to their second NEWMAC Championship and NCAA Tournament berth with a huge offensive week, batting .400 with two doubles, two homers, four runs, and five RBIs in the team's four tournament games. ![]()

WPI Senior Conor Fahey Named NEWMAC Co-Pitcher of the Week Fahey was at his best last week, not allowing an earned run in 17 innings of work to help WPI earn a share of the NEWMAC regular season title and the top seed in upcoming NEWMAC Tournament. ![]()
