NEWMAC Baseball Pitcher of the Week

Matthew Tillo, Clark University, JR (Osterville, Mass.)

In two starts, Tillo allowed just one run on six hits and struck out 12 batters in 14 innings of work. The junior pitcher tossed a complete game three-hitter in a 1-0 shutout victory over Misericordia College. Tillo also hurled seven innings of three-hit ball, striking out 10 batters and issuing just one walk in a 6-1 win over Northland College. He owns a 2-0 mark with a 0.64 ERA.
