WPI Junior Scott McNee Named NEWMAC Baseball Player of the Week

NEWMAC Baseball Player of the Week  

Scott McNee, WPI, OF, JR (Falmouth, Mass.)

McNee collected multiple hits in four of WPI's five games last week en route to hitting an impressive .545 (12-for-22) on the week. His week was highlighted by a three-homer performance during WPI's dramatic 13-12 victory over Brandeis. In game one against MIT, he reached base during all five of his plate appearances (three hits and two walks), while knocking in a pair of runs and scoring twice. McNee collected 10 RBI during WPI's 3-1-1 week and added eight runs scored. He also did not make an error in 18 defensive chances that included an outfield assist versus Brandeis.
