Jeff Lieneck, Wheaton College, C, SO (Foxboro,

Lieneck batted a team-best .436 to lead the Lyons to a 6-4
record in Arizona, as Wheaton played eight games against 2007 NCAA
Tournament participants, including seven that are either nationally
ranked or receiving votes in the Collegiate Baseball preseason
poll. Lieneck had at least one hit in the Lyons' first nine games,
going 17-for-39 with 11 runs, nine RBI, three doubles, five walks
and three stolen bases. He slugged .590 with a .500 on-base
percentage while fielding at a .988 clip. Lieneck amassed three
hits in four games, including batting 3-for-4 with two runs, two
stolen bases, an RBI and walk against second-ranked Cortland State.
He also had three base knocks in wins over Hope, Montclair State
and Webster.
