Paul Malaguti, Wheaton College, OF, SO (Andover,

Malaguti batted .526 with seven runs and six RBI during a 5-0
week, helping Wheaton extend its winning streak to 12 games, which
is the second longest in program history. Notching at least one RBI
and run in each game, Malaguti slugged .579 and had a .583 on-base
percentage in drawing two walks and getting hit twice. He went
2-for-3 with two runs and an RBI in Tuesday's 8-1 victory at
Brandeis and 4-for-5 with a pair of runs, an RBI and double during
Thursday's 20-8 triumph at UMass-Dartmouth. Malaguti drove in a run
and scored once in Saturday's 4-3 extra-inning win at Springfield
before going 2-for-4 with two RBI and a run during game two's 11-0
shutout. He finished the week with a 2-for-4 performance to go
alongside one RBI and run in Sunday's 13-7 home-opening win against
Endicott.
