Dave Ahern, Babson College, SO (Bedford, Mass.)

Making the first start of his collegiate career, Ahern pitched seven strong innings as Babson snapped #9 Wheaton's 17-game win streak with a 4-2 victory on Tuesday. The sophomore right-hander allowed just two runs on seven hits, walked one and struck out five to earn his first win of the season. It was only the fourth pitching appearance of the spring for Ahern, who has served mainly as the team's starting shortstop in 2008.
