NEWMAC Baseball Player of the Week

Matt Moreau, WPI, OF, 2010 (Manchester, N.H.)

Moreau registered a hit in all four WPI contests last week, en route to posting a .429 batting average with seven runs batted in. He began his week by coming of the bench and going 2-for-2 including the game-winning RBI double in the top of the ninth inning of a 2-1 road win at Johnson & Wales. The following day the junior helped the Engineers rally from a 7-0 deficit by belting a two-run homer and three-run homer in a 14-8 victory at Fitchburg State. He capped off his week by collecting a hit in each game of WPI's doubleheader with Clark.
