Springfield defeated #6-ranked Christopher Newport earlier today, 2-1 in overtime in a Round of 16 game. On Sunday, Springfield will meet #2-ranked Salisbury State at 1 pm. It's the second time in three years that Springfield has reached the Elite Eight.
