Field Hockey Offensive Athlete of the Week

Field Hockey Offensive Athlete of the Week

NEWMAC Field Hockey Offensive Athlete of the Week

Sophie Perekslis, Mount Holyoke (Sr, Millerton, N.Y.)

Perekslis was outstanding for MHC last week scoring three goals, two of which were game-winners, to lift the Lyons to a 2-0 mark over conference opponents, Springfield and Wellesley - including the first regular-season win over the Blue since 2011. Highlighting her week was MHC's come-from-behind 3-2 win at Wellesley where she assisted on the game's first goal to tie it 1-1, then scored the game-winning goal with just 3:34 remaining in regulation.
