MIT Sophomore Kameron Klauber Named NEWMAC Field Hockey Player of the Week

NEWMAC Field Hockey Player of the Week

Kameron Klauber, MIT, M, 2012 (Carlsbad, Calif.)

Klauber was instrumental in helping MIT capture its first ever NEWMAC title as well as the program's first berth into the Division III NCAA Championship, tallying a goal and an assist in the Engineers two wins over the weekend. In Saturday's semifinal against Mount Holyoke, she set up MIT's second score with a beautiful pass on a breakaway. The sophomore then scored what would prove to be the deciding goal in a 4-2 win over Springfield to secure the conference crown.
