NEWMAC Field Hockey Player of the Week:

Michele Farley, Babson, B, SR (Skowhegan, ME)

Farley turned in the finest week of her collegiate career in leading Babson to three wins, as she totaled five goals and one assist for 11 points from the center-back position. She recorded an assist in the Beavers' 3-2 overtime win over Wheaton on Tuesday night, and then posted a pair of goals, including the decisive score, in a 5-1 victory at Mount Holyoke on Saturday. The Beavers' senior tri-captain then capped off her stellar week with her first career hat trick on Sunday, as she scored three times, including the game-winner, in a 5-0 win over Kenyon College. The team's top defender, Farley now ranks third on the squad with six goals and four assists for 16 points this season.
