NEWMAC Student-Athletes Named to ECAC Division III New England All-Star Teams

Babson Park, Mass.-Five New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) student-athletes were honored by the Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) on Tuesday. Junior Jimmy Bartolotta (Littleton, Colo.) of MIT and senior Antoine Coleman (Everett, Mass.) of WPI were named to the 2007-08 ECAC Division III New England Men's Basketball First team; Coast Guard junior Craig Johnson (Medford, Ore.) was named to the Second team. Senior Natalie Moyer (Oklahoma City, Ok.) of Coast Guard was named to the Division III New England Women's Second team. In addition, Anthony Coppola (Watertown, Mass.) of Wheaton was named the 2007-08 ECAC Division III New England Men's Rookie of the Year. 

Bartolotta, who led the NEWMAC in scoring this season at 23.9 points per game, was a finalist for the Jostens Trophy and was named to the ESPN the Magazine Academic All-America First team. Coleman, the NEWMAC Men's Player of the Year, helped lead WPI to the NEWMAC regular season title, as well as a berth in the NCAA Tournament. Johnson helped Coast Guard capture its second consecutive NEWMAC Tournament championship, and helped advance the Bears within one game of the NCAA Division III Final Four. Bartolotta, Coleman and Johnson were all NEWMAC First team All-Conference selections this year. Coppola was named the NEWMAC Rookie of the Year, while also being named to the Second team All-Conference.

Moyer, the NEWMAC Women's Player of the Year, helped the Bears win the ECAC Division III New England Tournament championship. She finished her career with a school-record 1,640 points. Moyer is also Coast Guard's all-time leader in 3-point field goals made (259), steals (234) and games played (107).
