MIT Basketball to Join in Hoops for Haiti Relief Effort

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. - At this week's basketball doubleheaders, MIT will be collecting donations to assist the relief efforts of the Red Cross in Haiti. On Wednesday, Jan. 20 the nationally-ranked No. 8 men's team will host Springfield College at 6:00 p.m. with the women taking on WPI at approximately 8:00 p.m. The home action continues on Saturday, Jan. 23 as the men face off with Wheaton College at 1:00 p.m., followed by the women's match-up with Clark University at 3:00 p.m.
