USCGA Senior Jeff Prebeck Named NEWMAC Men's Basketball Player of the Week

NEWMAC Men's Basketball Player of the Week:

Jeff Prebeck, U.S. Coast Guard Academy, F, SR (Columbus, Ind.)

Prebeck averaged 16 points, 8.3 rebounds, and 2.3 steals in a 2-1 week for the Bears and he became the Academy's all-time leading scorer during the week. He shot 51.4 percent (19-37) from the floor for the week. Prebeck hit a shot with two seconds left in regulation to send Coast Guard's game against Connecticut College into overtime, before the Bears were defeated in the extra session.
