In Wednesday night's, 61-60 win over MIT, Gibbs' three-point play with two seconds remaining gave the Pride the one-point victory. He finished with 11 points and four assists against the Engineers. On Saturday, Gibbs' remarkable play down the stretch completed Springfield's comeback victory in double overtime against Clark, 90-87. For the game, Gibbs finished with 18 points, 16 of which came in the second half and overtime sessions. Gibbs hit a jumper in the lane as time expired in the first overtime to send it to a second extra frame. He then stunned the crowd, as he buried a 55-footer to beat the buzzer, sending SC to a 90-87 win.
