WPI Senior Antoine Coleman Named NEWMAC Men's Basketball Player of the Week

NEWMAC Men's Basketball Player of the Week:

Antoine Coleman, WPI, F, SR (Everett, MA)

Coleman averaged 20 points and 5.3 rebounds while helping the Engineers to two victories in three contests last week. He paced all scorers with 23 points in an 85-80 road loss at three-time NCAA Tournament participant Elms. Coleman then scored a game-high 24 points, including 14 in the second half, to lead the Engineers past Endicott 77-67. He capped his fine week by tallying 13 points to reach the 1,000 career point milestone as WPI knocked off previously undefeated Fitchburg State 105-67. Coleman, who dished out a career-best five assists versus the Falcons, connected on 21-of-34 (61.8%) field goal attempts on the week.
