WPI senior Antoine Coleman was named to the 2008 State Farm Division III All-America Third Team by the NABC. MIT junior Jimmy Bartolotta was also honored by the NABC; he was named to the All-Northeast District Second team.

Senior guard Al Sowers scored a team-high 15 points as the United States Coast Guard Academy (24-6) advanced to the NCAA Division III Elite Eight with a 57-48 win over the University of Rochester on Friday night.

Senior Jeff Prebeck led all scorers with 24 points to go with his game-high 10 rebounds while junior Craig Johnson sank a pair of free throws with 3.8 seconds left to ice the game as Coast Guard set a single-season record for wins and won its first ever NCAA Tournament first round game holding off No. 24 Trinity 70-65.

The NEWMAC announced its 2007-08 Men's Basketball Post-season awards on Tuesday. NEWMAC tournament champions Coast Guard, led the way with three All-Conference selections.
