NEWMAC Men's Lacrosse Offensive Athlete of the Week
Graham Davis, MIT (Junior, Crofton, Md.)
In a 2-0 week for MIT, Graham Davis tallied eight goals and three assists for 11 points. He started things off last Tuesday by producing five goals in a 19-13 win over Castleton. Davis then registered three goals and three assists, including setting up what proved to be the game-winning goal, in a 13-10 victory over Babson. The Engineers win over the Beavers last Saturday was their first since 2009.
NEWMAC Men's Lacrosse Defensive Athlete of the Week
Jake Reynolds, Springfield (Junior, Scituate, Mass.)
Reynolds continued his sensational play between the pipes as the Pride picked up a pair of NEWMAC wins to improve to 6-2 on the season. In two outings, Reynolds owned a goals against average of 3.67 and a save percentage of 80.6. In a rematch of last year's NEWMAC Championship on Monday versus Babson, Reynolds turned in a 20-save performance as he allowed just five goals before making five saves in just over 38 minutes of action while surrendering just one goal against Mass. Maritime.
