Coast Guard's McNulty and Babson's Tague Garner NEWMAC Weekly Awards

NEWMAC Men's Lacrosse Offensive Athlete of the Week

Riley McNulty, Coast Guard (So, Annapolis, Md.)

Riley had seven goals, three assists and seven ground balls as the Bears recorded NEWMAC wins over MIT and Wheaton. McNulty finished with a game high six points scoring four goals and adding two assists in the win over Wheaton to crack the 100 point mark for his career as he finished the week with 105 career points. He leads the conference with 43 points, is second with 18 assists and is tied for fourth with 25 goals.

NEWMAC Men's Lacrosse Defensive Athlete of the Week

Jack Tague, Babson (Fr, Fairfield, Conn.)

Tague scooped up four ground balls and caused two turnovers as Babson rallied to defeat Springfield, 11-8, on Saturday. The first-year long pole was part of a unit that allowed just two shots while forcing five turnovers in the fourth quarter to help the Beavers topple the Pride for the second time in four years. With 7:19 remaining in the contest, Tague forced a Springfield turnover and picked up a groundball that started the offensive possession that tied the game.
