WPI Freshman Jason Hopkins Named NEWMAC Men's Soccer Player of the Week

NEWMAC Men's Soccer Player of the Week

Jason Hopkins, WPI, F, 2013 (Mendon, Mass.)

Hopkins used his head to help WPI earn its first conference victory since the end of the 2006 season. Hopkins notched a pair of goals off headers, the last of with 3:08 remaining in the game, to lift the Engineers to a dramatic 2-1 home win against Coast Guard. The freshman, who has scored in six of WPI's seven contests, has a team-best eight goals on the year.
