NEWMAC Men's Soccer Player of the Week

Jimmy Stento, Babson College, M, 2012 (Needham, Mass.)

Stento continued his magnificent late-season play with a huge weekend, as he factored in on three of Babson's four goals in leading the top-seeded Beavers to their second straight NEWMAC Tournament Championship. On Saturday, Stento scored Babson's first goal and then assisted the eventual game-winner in a 2-1 semifinal victory over fourth-seeded WPI. Then on Sunday, Stento snapped a 1-1 tie with a goal in the 77th minute to lift the Beavers to a 2-1 victory over second-seeded Wheaton in the conference championship game. Stento now has three goals and three assists for nine points in his last three games and 10 points for the season.
