Clark Sophomore Preben Gietz Named NEWMAC Men's Soccer Player of the Week

NEWMAC Men's Soccer Player of the Week:

Preben Gietz, Clark, D, SO (Waterloo, Belgium)

Gietz scored the lone goal to lead Clark to a key 1-0 NEWMAC win over Wheaton College last Saturday.  In addition to tallying his first marker of the season, the sophomore defender also helped the Cougars post their fourth conference shutout of the season with the victory.  It marked the first time Clark had beaten Wheaton since joining the NEWMAC.
