Springfield Sophomore Brian Sobel Named NEWMAC Men's Diver of the Week
Sobel had a terrific performance as he won both the one and three meter boards in a dual meet against Amherst on Saturday. In sweeping the competition, Sobel defeated last year's NCAA Diver of the Year, Kai Robinson.

WPI Freshman Andrew Lybarger Named NEWMAC Men's Swimmer of the Week
Lybarger won four different events during the past week of competition, leading WPI to a 2-0 record in its final dual meets of the season.

Springfield Sophomore Brian Sobel Named NEWMAC Men's Diver of the Week
Sobel swept both boards as the Pride won a duel meet over Babson on Saturday. The sophomore diver scored a 319.05 on the one-meter and a 285.85 on the three-meter.

Coast Guard Sophomore Mike Carman Named NEWMAC Men's Co-Swimmer of the Week
Carman won the 100 breaststroke (1:00.12) and the 200 breaststroke (2:09.09) in a 201-91 win over Conn. College, both of those times were career bests while his time in the 200 breaststroke is very close to an NCAA cut time.

MIT Junior Jeff Zhou Named NEWMAC Men's Co-Swimmer of the Week
Jeff Zhou paced MIT to a dominating victory at Amherst on Sunday as the Engineers claimed their first undefeated regular season in program history. Zhou split 51.20 in the 100 fly to set a pool record, while securing an NCAA cut.

Springfield Sophomore Brian Sobel Named NEWMAC Men's Diver of the Week
Sobel swept both the events in the diving competition this weekend as the Pride dropped a dual meet at Williams. Sobel took first on the three-meter board as he scored a 305.93. On the one-meter, Sobel took first with a 303.45, over 50 points higher than the second-place finisher.

Coast Guard Junior Timmy Berry Named NEWMAC Men's Swimmer of the Week
Berry set the pool record in the 100 backstroke, won the 200 backstroke and the 200 IM and was part of the 200 medley relay team which also set a pool record as Coast Guard handed rival Merchant Marine its first dual meet loss of the season, beating the Mariners 179-121.
