MIT Senior Luke Cummings Named NEWMAC Men's Swimmer of the Week

NEWMAC Men's Swimmer of the Week:

Luke Cummings, MIT, 2010 (Kingston, R.I.)

In the final home meet of his career, MIT's Luke Cummings led the Engineers with three wins as the No. 5 Cardinal and Gray defeated No. 16 Amherst College 174-124 last Saturday afternoon. The senior started the day as anchor of Tech's winning 200 Medley Relay (1:33.78). Cummings went on to win the 50 Free (20.71) and 100 Free (46.25); both were NCAA B-cut times. With the win, the MIT men close their dual-meet schedule at 8-0, notching their second-consecutive undefeated season.
