Wheaton Sophomore Harry Altman Named NEWMAC Men's Tennis Singles Player of the Week

NEWMAC Men's Tennis Singles Player of the Week  

Harry Altman, Wheaton College, 2011 (Riverdale, N.Y.)

Altman went 3-0 on the road last week from his fourth singles position, including winning both of his NEWMAC matches. The sophomore downed a Clark opponent, 6-4, 6-1 during the Lyons' 9-0 shutout on Monday before picking up a quick 6-0, 6-2 triumph in Wheaton's 5-3 loss at Babson on Saturday. In a non-conference match on Thursday at Salem State, Altman was victorious by a 6-3, 6-3 count. He currently leads the Lyons with 13 wins this school year, having gone 8-1 from the fourth slot.
