NEWMAC Teams Prepare for NCAA Tournaments
A number of New England Women’s and Men’s Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) teams are preparing to begin post-season play in their respective NCAA Tournaments this week. The regional rounds for softball, women’s lacrosse and men’s and women’s tennis kick off, starting with women’s lacrosse on Wednesday, May 6.

The NEWMAC announced its 2009 men’s tennis award winners on Tuesday. NEWMAC Tournament Champion, MIT, led the way with a league-high six All-Conference selections, as well as the Rookie of the Year, Samuel Harmatz.

MIT Freshman Samuel Harmatz Named NEWMAC Men's Tennis Singles Player of the Week
Samuel Harmatz had a solid outing for MIT in his first appearance at the NEWMAC Championship Tournament.
