Springfield Junior Steve Headley Named NEWMAC Men's Track Athlete of the Week

NEWMAC Men's Track Athlete of the Week  

Steve Headley, Springfield College, 2010 (Wilbraham, Mass.)

Headley motored the Pride to a second-place finish in a tri-meet with NEWMAC foes WPI and Coast Guard on Saturday. Despite losing to Coast Guard by just one point, Headley paced Springfield as he cruised to victory in the 100 in 10.63 and followed that up with a first-place finish in the 200 meters after crossing the finish line in 22.04. The junior also anchored the 4x100 relay team that finished first in 42.29.
