Chabot Lifted to Full Time Status as Head Track and Field Coach at WPI
Worcester, MA --- WPI Director of Physical Education, Recreation and Athletics Dana L. Harmon announced today that head track and field coach Brian Chabot has been elevated to full-time status.  Chabot, who will be entering his third year at the helm of the indoor and outdoor programs, will also have added responsibilities within the athletics department.

The Wheaton College men accomplished what no other Lyon track & field team had ever accomplished at an NCAA Championship, capturing national titles in both the 4x100- and 4x400-meter relays during the third and final day of competition at Baldwin-Wallace College's Finnie Stadium on Saturday.

Senior Steve Headley capped off his illustrious collegiate career by repeating as national champion in the 100 meter dash on Saturday afternoon at the NCAA Division III Men's Outdoor Track and Field Championships.

Stephen Morton Wins NCAA Long Jump National Championship
MIT senior, Stephen Morton, captured the NCAA Division III National Championship in the long jump on Thursday, becoming the 22nd NCAA Individual Champion in MIT history. Morton out-leapt Kellen McCrary of Wisconsin-La Crosse by an inch and a half to cap off a very successful first day for the Cardinal and Gray at the National Championship meet.
