MIT Junior Hemagiri Arumugam Named NEWMAC Men's Cross Country Runner of the Week

NEWMAC Men's Runner of the Week:

Hemagiri Arumugam, MIT, 2010 (Hagerstown, Md.)

Arumugam, as he has done all season, led the way for MIT at the NCAA Division III Pre-Nationals in Hanover, Ind. He finished the eight-kilometer course in 26:08, placing 12th overall out of 230 runners. The Engineers finished an impressive sixth out of 20 teams in the meet, held at the site of the 2008 NCAA cross country championships.
