NEWMAC Softball Pitcher of the Week

Jenna Harvey, Wellesley College, SR (London, Ontario, Canada)

In a 3-0-1 week for the Blue, Harvey went 2-0 and helped Wellesley sweep NEWMAC opponent Coast Guard. In 14 innings of work, she struck out 30 batters while allowing only three earned runs off of four hits. In 44 at-bats, opponents are batting just .091 against the senior. Harvey's best work came on the road in Wellesley's NEWMAC opener, where she had a hand in both wins in a doubleheader sweep of Coast Guard. In game one, Harvey fired a one-hitter, striking out 16 batters (walking none) and facing the minimum. In game two, Harvey came on in relief to strike out five of the six batters she faced while earning the win.
