Wellesley Senior Jenna Harvey Named NEWMAC Softball Pitcher of the Week

NEWMAC Softball Pitcher of the Week  

Jenna Harvey, Wellesley College, SR (London, Ontario, Canada)

Harvey was dominant on the mound in a 5-1 week for Wellesley. The senior pitcher made three appearances, going 3-0 with two no-hitters and a 0.00 ERA. Against Framingham State, Harvey threw her first no-no of the week, going five innings and striking out 14. In an extra innings win over second-seeded Wheaton, she threw all nine innings, scattering five hits, allowing no earned runs while striking out 14 hitters. To close out the week, Harvey threw a no-hitter against WPI, going five innings while striking out 12 batters. Overall, Harvey finished the week with 40 strikeouts and no earned runs.
