Wheaton Junior Stacey Kelleher Named NEWMAC Softball Player of the Week

NEWMAC Softball Player of the Week 

Stacey Kelleher, Wheaton College, INF, JR (Brockton, Mass.)

Kelleher helped Wheaton go 7-3 last week, batting .524 with a .952 slugging percentage in eight games. Kelleher totaled seven runs, eight RBI, six doubles and a home run while walking three times and striking out only once in 24 plate appearances. She hit safely in each of the team's last seven contests. During Wheaton's game-one win against Babson on Thursday, Kelleher hit a game-tying home run in the seventh while finishing 2-for-3 with two runs. Against WPI on Saturday, Kelleher doubled before scoring the eventual winning run in a 2-0 game-two triumph.
