Coast Guard Freshman Amanda Frederick Named NEWMAC Softball Player of the Week

NEWMAC Softball Player of the Week  

Amanda Frederick, Coast Guard Academy, C, FR (Lebanon, Ohio)

Frederick had a great week as Coast Guard went 3-4 during the week. She hit .417 (10-24) with three doubles, one triple, four homers and 12 RBI's. She had an impressive slugging percentage of 1.125 for the week with 27 bases in 24 at bats. She was 3 for 3 with two homers, three runs scored and three RBI's as Coast Guard beat Babson 7-4 in game one to knock the Beavers out of first place on Saturday.
