Mills Named Volleyball Coach at Smith College

Northampton, MA: Director of Athletics, Lynn Oberbillig, announced today that Angela B. Mills of Amherst, Massachusetts has been named interim volleyball coach at Smith College for the 2006-07 academic year. Mills replaces Bonnie May who assumed the Assistant Director of Athletics position at Smith.

Mills brings five years of collegiate coaching experience to the Smith program as she served as head coach at Trinity College from 2001-04, assistant volleyball coach at Amherst College during the 2004-05 academic year and also served as the interim coach at Mount Holyoke College in 1996. She also served as volleyball coach at the Northfield Mount Hermon School, Miss Porter's School and at the Stoneleigh Burnham School. A graduate of Amherst College where she played volleyball for four years, Mills received her Master's Degree from Springfield College.
