Alice Kate Cummings, Wellesley College, OH, 2010 (Tallahassee, Fla.)

Senior co-captain Alice Kate Cummings led Wellesley to the NEWMAC title this week, guiding the Blue to wins over WPI, Springfield, and MIT. Cummings led the Blue in kills (38) and digs (33) in the tournament, while also recording five blocks, three aces, and zero passing errors in 10 sets. She was particularly strong in the championship sweep over MIT, when she hit .355 and recorded her second straight double-double of the tournament with 13 kills and 11 digs. The senior also recorded her 1,000 career kill in the finals against MIT.
