Wheaton Freshman Becca Rose named NEWMAC Women's Volleyball Player of the Week

Becca Rose, FR, Wheaton (Sudbury, MA)

Becca Rose has been key to Wheaton's 7-1 start, which is Wheaton's best start since 1991. Through the first 8 matches she leads the team in assists (250) and service aces (29), is second in blocks (11), and fourth in digs (43). The freshman from Sudbury, MA was named to the All-Tournament team at the Regis Invitational, helping Wheaton to a 2nd place finish out of 6 teams. Rose has averaged an impressive 31.3 assists per match, has had at least 30 assists six times, 7 or more digs four times, and at least 3 aces five times.
