MIT Sophomore Katie Rowe named NEWMAC Women's Volleyball Player of the Week

NEWMAC Women's Volleyball Player of the Week:

Katie Rowe, MIT, SO (Los Alamitos, CA)

Strong performances at the net by Katie Rowe helped power MIT to a pair of 3-0 victories in conference play last week. Against Smith, she tallied 10 kills with two errors on 21 attempts for a .381 hitting percentage, while picking up four blocks. On Saturday, Rowe posted a career-high 19 kills, on 32-errorless attempts, for a .594 hitting percentage and registered three blocks. In six games, she averaged 4.83 kills and 1.17 blocks to go along with a .509 hitting percentage.
