Wellesley Senior Lauren Rasmussen Named NEWMAC Women's Volleyball Player of the Week

NEWMAC Women's Volleyball Player of the Week:

Lauren Rasmussen, Wellesley, MB, SR (Bonita, CA)

Wellesley Senior middle blocker and co-captain Lauren Rasmussen was instrumental in Wellesley's run to the NEWMAC title. The 5'10" Rasmussen tallied 22 kills against only five errors in three tournament matches, including a 10-kill (.562) performance in the semi-final victory over Springfield. The Bonita, CA, native, who hit .415 in the tournament, also recorded eight service aces, 12 digs, and eight blocks in route to the championship, including five aces and five blocks in the title match versus MIT.
