NEWMAC Student-Athletes Named to d3hoops.com Women's All-Region Teams

Babson Park, Mass.-The New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) announced today that four student-athletes were named to the d3hoops.com Women's All-Northeast Region teams.

Coast Guard sophomore Melissa Martinelli (Vero Beach, Fla.) was named to the First team All-Region. Teammate Natalie Moyer (Oklahoma City, Ok.), the NEWMAC Player of the Year, was named to the Third team. Martinelli and Moyer helped Coast Guard capture the ECAC Division III New England championship.

Junior Krystin Hickey (Manchester, N.H.) of Wheaton was named to the All-Region Second team. Hickey and her Lyon teammates captured the NEWMAC tournament championship and earned a bid in the NCAA tournament.

Clark junior Sarah Roderigue (Oakland, Maine) earned All-Region Second team honors as well. Hickey, Martinelli, Moyer and Roderigue were all members of the NEWMAC First team All-Conference this year.
