Wellesley Junior Jessica Duff Named NEWMAC Women's Basketball Player of the Week

NEWMAC Women's Basketball Player of the Week:

Jessica Duff, Wellesley College, F, JR (Milton, Abingdon, UK)

Jessica Duff averaged 24 points and 9.5 rebounds to lead Wellesley to a 1-1 week. In a thrilling double-overtime win over Babson, she scored a career-high 23 points and added 13 rebounds to finish with a double-double. Duff contributed to the victory late in the game, as the junior post-player came up with key defensive rebounds to end both regulation and the first overtime period. As an encore to her performance against Babson, Duff led all scorers in a loss to Wheaton, setting a new career-high of 25 points while also pulling down six rebounds.
