NEWMAC Women's Basketball Player of the Week:

Krystin Hickey, Wheaton College, F, JR (Manchester, N.H.)

Hickey helped move Wheaton into sole possession of first place while becoming just the ninth women's player in school history to reach the 1,000-point milestone. Hickey averaged 20.0 points, 8.0 rebounds, 3.5 assists and 2.5 steals while shooting 61.5 percent from the field, 83.3 percent from three-point territory and 75.0 percent from the free throw line. In Wednesday's 78-71 win at MIT, Hickey went over the 1,000-point plateau with a career-best 30 points on 12-of-19 shooting to go along with a career-high four threes and nine rebounds. During Saturday's 69-54 victory against Springfield, she finished with 10 points, seven rebounds, four assists and three steals.
