Clark Junior Sarah Roderigue Named NEWMAC Women's Basketball Player of the Week

NEWMAC Women's Basketball Player of the Week:

Sarah Roderigue, Clark, F, JR (Oakland, ME)

Roderigue averaged 20.7 points, 8.3 rebounds and 4.0 assists to lead Clark to a 3-0 record. The junior forward notched her first double-double of the season with a 19 point, 11 rebound effort in a 79-68 victory over Johnson and Wales University last Tuesday. She had 22 points, shooting 9-11 from the field, with eight rebounds, five assists, three steals, and a pair of blocks in the Cougars win over Worcester State College (69-46) in the opening game of the Worcester City Tip-Off Tournament. Named the Tournament MVP, Roderigue registered 21 points, on 9-12 shooting, and six redounds en route to Clark's 18th Worcester City Championship with a 57-47 victory against WPI.
