2008 NEWMAC Women's Rowing Championship Set for Saturday, April 19

Babson Park, Mass.--The 2008 New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) Women's Rowing Championship will take place Saturday, April 19 on Lake Quinsigamond in Worcester, Mass. The Regatta will be hosted by Clark University.

Racing gets underway with the First Novice Eight race at 8:40 a.m. That is followed by the Third Varsity Eight race at 8:50 a.m. and the Second Varsity Eight at 9:00 a.m. The First Varsity Eight, the winner of which will be crowned the 2008 NEWMAC Champion, takes off at 9:10 a.m.

Competing in the races will be boats from Clark University, The United States Coast Guard Academy, Mount Holyoke College, Smith College, Wellesley College and WPI.
