WPI Mourns the Passing of Recent Graduate Jennifer McLaughlin

The WPI community mourns the passing of recent graduate Jennifer McLaughlin, a native of Spencer, Mass. Jen received a B.S. in Biomedical Engineering in 2006, and during her time at WPI she was a member of Phi Sigma Sigma and Mu Sigma Delta.  An accomplished student-athlete, Jen was also a dedicated member of the crew and swimming and diving teams, and even served as captain of the crew team during her junior and senior years. 

Calling hours will be Thursday from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Morrison-Morin Funeral Home in Spencer, Mass.  A pre-funeral visitation will also be held on Friday morning at 9 a.m. at the funeral home.  The funeral service will be Friday at 10 a.m. at Mary Queen of the Rosary church in Spencer, with a reception after the burial.

In lieu of flowers, her family asks that memorial donations be made to WPI. All gifts will support WPI Crew by aiding in the purchase of racing shells, with the intent to name one in her honor. Please make checks payable to WPI, and indicate that the gift is in memory of Jennifer McLaughlin.
