May 15, 2018 Rowing Places Six on NEWMAC Academic All-Conference Team WESTWOOD, Mass. ? Sophia Spiliotopoulos (Arlington, Va.), Halley Glier (Shelburne, Mass.), Kayla Rich (Billerica, Mass.), Emily Ladda (Farmington, Conn.), Ella Scott (Hope Maine), and Wenlan Lawrence (Austin, Texas) of the Clark University women's rowing team were named to the New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) 2018 NEWMAC Rowing Academic All-Conference Team. The NEWMAC rowing student-athletes totaled 57 honorees this year.
May 14, 2018 Rowing Wraps Up 2018 Season at National Invitational Rowing Championship Worcester, Mass.?The Cark University women?s rowing team competed in the 2018 National Invitational Rowing Championship on Friday, May 11th at Lake Quinsigamond. The women competed with Ithaca, Tufts, Wellesley, RIT, Trinity, Rochester, Connecticut College, Skidmore, Bates, Hamilton, WPI, and William Smith.
May 10, 2018 Rowing Races at New England Championship Worcester, Mass.--The Clark University women's rowing team raced in the 2018 New England Rowing Championship on Saturday, May 5th at Lake Quinsigamond. The Cougars raced in the women's 2nd Varsity Four and the women's Varsity Eight.
April 28, 2018 Clark Rowing Competes in NEWMAC Championship The Clark University women's rowing team competed in the New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) Championship on a beautiful Saturday morning at Donahue Rowing Center on Lake Quinsigamond. Following the race Halley Glier (helburne, Mass.) and Emily Ladda (Farmington, Conn.) were named to the 2018 NEWMAC All-Conference Second Team. The Blue of Wellesley College swept all four races to earn the Florence Jope Smith Cup and a trip to the NCAA Rowing Championships Memorial Day Weekend in Sarasota, FL. WPI earned silver across the board.
April 23, 2018 Rowing Competes with Top Programs in the Country Worcester, Mass.--The Clark University Rowing team competed in the Varsity Eight Heat 2, the 2nd Varsity Eight Heat 2, the Varsity Eight Petite Final and the 2nd Varsity Eight Petite Final on Saturday morning on Lake Quinsigamond. There was a consistent cross tailwind at 10-15 mph that day. On Sunday they were back on the lack in the morning for the Varsity Eight and 2nd Varsity Eight with WPI, Tufts, William Smith, and Skidmore. Over the two days Clark competed with four of the top fifteen rowing programs in the country. WPI was awarded the Bernie Brown Cup on Sunday for the first time in four years.
