MIT Senior Amy Ludlum Named NEWMAC Women's Soccer Player of the Week

NEWMAC Women's Soccer Player of the Week:  

Amy Ludlum, MIT, F, SR (Mission Viejo, CA)

Ludlum enjoyed a historic week while helping MIT to a 2-0 record in conference play. Ludlum scored an improbable goal in the first minute of last Tuesday's match as the Engineers upended Clark, 1-0, behind her third game-winner of the season. On Friday night, Ludlum secured her second game-winning goal of the week after providing the first finish in a 4-0 win at Coast Guard. She also added two assists against the Bears to factor in four of MIT's five goals during the week. Ludlum's finish in the 42nd minute against Coast Guard was even more significant as it set a new Institute record with her 49th career goal, surpassing the mark previously established by Rebecca Hill (1991-94).
