Wheaton Freshman Julia Wright Named NEWMAC Women's Diver of the Week

NEWMAC Women's Diver of the Week:

Wright notched her first NCAA cut while sweeping the one- and three-meter diving competitions during Friday's 186-114 loss to MIT, which is tied for sixth nationally in the CSCAA's poll. Wright's score of 264.51 during the one-meter dive surpassed the NCAA Championship provisional cut. Her 260.99-point total on the three-meter platform also nearly reached a provisional standard. Wright's one-meter score ranks second among NEWMAC divers this season, while her three-meter result places her fourth.
