Clark Sophomore Eileen Garcia Named NEWMAC Women's Diver of the Week

NEWMAC Women's Diver of the Week:

Eileen Garcia, Clark University, 2012 (New York, N.Y.)

Garcia continued her torrid pace, taking home Diver of the Meet for the second consecutive season at the Worcester City Championships, following a spectacular week in the pool. Garcia won the 1-meter event (269.40) on Friday and then set a new school record on the 3-meter board, posting a score of 299.65 shattering her old benchmark of 281.60. Earlier in the week, she won both the one-meter (274.45) and the three-meter (256.00) in a dual meet win over Brandeis.
