MIT Freshman Sarah Scodel Named NEWMAC Women's Swimmer of the Week

Last weekend, MIT freshman Sarah Scodel won seven of her eight races, including five individual wins, to help the No. 6 Engineers pick up three wins over two days. On Saturday, Scodel led-off MIT's winning 200 Medley Relay (1:54.98) and won both the 100 Back (1:02.07) and 200 Back (2:14.71) over the Mules of Colby College. She also picked up second place in the 200 Fly (2:18.33). On Sunday, she was again part of the Engineers' winning 200 Medley Relay (1:53.14) and went on to win the 200 Back (2:14.41), 100 Fly (1:01.93) and 200 Fly (2:14.46) over NEWMAC rivals Coast Guard and Springfield.
