Clark Senior Dana Akerfelds Named NEWMAC Women's Swimmer of the Week

NEWMAC Women's Swimmer of the Week:

Dana Akerfelds, Clark University, 2010 (Bronxville, N.Y.)

Akerfelds had an eventful week for the Cougars, who knocked off WPI and then took part in the non-scoring Wheaton Invite. Against the Engineers she claimed the 200 IM (2:18.86) and the 100 Backstroke (1:02.12) and was a member of the first-place 200 Medley Relay squad (1:59.22). Then at the Wheaton Invite, she finished first in the 200 Backstroke (2:13.35) and second in the 200 IM (2:19.46).
